Khiva Women's upper clothes, "misak" and "elak rosim" clothes, which expand to the side of the skirt, are worn for parties and guests. These clothes are mainly intended for wearing in cold weather. "Misak" and "sieves" are mainly made of red and green striped semi-silk "olacha" cloth, and light green cotton cloth is used for lining. The shell method used in the preparation of Khorezm dresses was fundamentally different from the methods available in other regions of Uzbekistan. In this method, the distance between the fabric lines is 0.5-1 cm. The sides, hem and the inside of the sleeves of the upper clothes are made of semi-silk fabric cut crosswise, bordered with "farouz" stripes woven from adip or red silk. On the side cut, the edges of the stripes are stitched with red, yellow, and white threads. Such patterns were widely used to decorate the seams of outerwear pockets.
