Typical examples of the conical shape of domes are two mausoleums of Kunya Urgench - Fakhrad-Din Razi and the Mausoleum of Tekesh, both dating from the XII century. Their domes are covered with blue tiles interspersed with terracotta bricks. Only in the Temurid period the domes are completely covered with blue facing tiles.
