In the Khivakhanate, women’s clothing differed in color and decorative solution. Women’s dresses were mostly sewn from floral and patternless zipper fabrics. Although the dresses were in monochrome color, the women’s clothing had given a rich and elegant look due to the large number of jewelry pieces crafted with high skill by talented Khorezmian jewelers. Khorezm women’s clothing was dominated by red color, and most of the clothes were made of tulip and pomegranate fabrics. The composition of the women’s wardrobe included «shoulder drink», «shirt», «waist drink», «pants» and a thin layer of cotton with a fine and fluffy top «sieve», «misak», hats of various shapes: «tahya» doppi, «a set of jewelry and ornaments, such as «lachak», «zirak», «isirga», as well as a variety of footwear: «kavush», «adik», «makhsi». The underpants were solid, wide, with long sleeves, the collarbone was triangular or circular in shape, and was framed by silk knits. Girls and young women’s dresses were mostly sewn from brightly colored cotton and silk fabrics.For the dresses of middle-aged women, calm purple, blue, blue, green fabrics were chosen. Older women wore mostly white, colorless fabrics, sometimes chit dresses with small floral prints.
