The Sultan-Saodat complex (10th–17th centuries) is distinguished by the originality of the planning and spatial solution — the family tomb of the Termez seyids, the founder of which was a certain Hasan-al-Emir, a representative of the fifth generation of Imam Hussein, the grandson of Muhammad. Sultan-Saodat is an architectural ensemble formed from different-temporal, but similar groups of mausoleums, arranged around a long 70-meter courtyard stretching from west to east. The main landmark of the complex is its oldest building, which occupies the western part of the courtyard. These are two single-chamber domed mausoleums, united by a deep vault of the ayvan mosque. The compositional construction of both mausoleums is similar.
