Madrasah of Matniyoz Devanbegi

Madrasah of Matniyoz Devanbegi is an architectural monument in Khiva (1871). It was built by Matniyaz (Muhammad Niyaz) Khan's Dewan Begisi. The main style is facing the madrasa of Muhammad Aminkhan.
The madrasah is one-story, rectangular (36.45x31.8 m). There are rooms around the courtyard (21X17 m). The head style has a huge pediment, 3 arched arches are made on its sides. The tops of the minarets in the corners are finished with domed mezanas. You enter the miyansarai through the door decorated with wood carvings at the entrance. The dome of Mionsaray rested on shield-shaped arches. There are classrooms connected to the courtyard next to the Mion Palace. The rooms around the yard have arched fronts. The gable-domed mosque on the south side was used as a porch. The domes of the classroom and the mosque are placed on intersecting ridges, and the rooms are vaulted. The main style is decorated in the style typical of Khorezm architecture (with blue, white and sky-colored tiles).
