The building itself of this museum, designed by Jean Nouvel, is an architectural masterpiece. Its concept is intended to reflect the mixture of modernity and antiquity - what the collection of exhibits exhibited in the museum demonstrates. It features modern and ancient art, from the Fountain of Light by Chinese artist and architect Ai Weiwei to manuscripts of the Quran from the 9th century. Also here you can see archaeological finds made on the territory of Islamic states. For example, dating back to 6500 BC. plaster statues found in Jordan (they are considered one of the oldest in the world) and an astrolabe belonging to Ibn Battuta.
